My family has some great friends that were nice enough to give me a jar of homemade White Currant Jam from their garden in Vermont. The current berries grew on a bush which bloomed earlier this summer.
This is their garden: beautiful and verdant.
This is my garden: a little sad.
At least my garden produced three red tomatoes. I will be writing about a perfect appetizer using these tomatoes in the next One Ingredient Wonders.
