Recipe For Madness

My Mom took us to King Arthur Flour to pick up some take-out. I was really craving a sandwich so I looked at the menu and there were not a lot of different kinds of sandwiches but they all looked great. My Mom looked over my shoulder to look at the menu too and she said the reuben sandwich was her favorite. Mom said a long time ago when she got the sandwich there was melting cheese on top of loads and loads of pastrami sprinkled with herbs and pepper. The kind I had was exactly the same except delicious thin slices of apple were spread all over the pastrami. It was so perfect-looking that it was love at first sight, but my Mom said I had to wait until we got home to eat. We sang “Pink Fluffy Unicorns Dancing On Rainbows” until we got home to get our minds off the food (my dad calls the song a recipe for madness). When we got home I started on the sandwich and I had never had a better sandwich. In my opinion it was the best sandwich in the whole world. It was cheese goodness and gone in seconds.

Tips: Whenever you get hungry, sing “pink fluffy unicorns dancing on rainbows”. It always helps me. I highly suggest looking it up on Youtube.

  1. I have to get the lyrics for this song so that I too, can have the best sandwich experience that you so wonderfully described here!
